Who I Am
I’ve been transforming hair—and lives—since 1986. As the founder of CutnRun and creator of Beyond the Hair, I’ve spent decades listening, uplifting, and educating beauty professionals across South Carolina and beyond. From the barber’s chair to the classroom, I believe our industry is about more than style—it’s about connection. We’re “hairapists,” mentors, motivators, and sounding boards. Through bilingual, compliance-focused CEU courses, I help professionals look good and feel better.
THE BRANDS
CUT 'n' RUN
Licensed since 1986, I started out in a barbershop wedged between SLED and Ft. Jackson—so trust me, fades and flat-tops weren’t just trendy, they were mandatory. When you cut military styles all day, every day, precision becomes muscle memory.
Fast forward 12 years, and the stylist in me got a serious upgrade. I was invited into the South National Cosmetology Association of SC and made a few pilgrimages to Pivot Point in Chicago. That’s where haircutting really came alive—once I understood head shapes, facial features, and the geometry behind great style.
So if you’ve ever wondered why I seem to be scanning your face like a TSA agent—it’s not intimidation, it’s calculation. I’m sizing up your bone structure to make sure your cut fits like it was custom-tailored. Because in my chair, it’s not just a haircut—it’s a head-to-toe strategy.

My experience as a barber, stylist manager, area supervisor, and educator has shaped every page you see today. Whether you're renewing your license or looking to energize your team, my classes deliver more than just CEUs—they’re fun, engaging, and packed with lifelong lessons you’ll carry with you after leaving a class.”
